I'll be the phonograph That plays your favorite albums back As you're lying there, drifting off to sleep

While many of my male friends are enjoying the World Cup for it's athletic competition, I, on the other hand enjoy it because it allows me to distract myself with the large group of attractive, very fit guys who adorn the teams. while my favorite, of course is Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlton Cole (a close second), my attention has been brought to one certain New Zealander. Winston Reid. Super hawt. And he's 21. Future husband material

Try to be nice cos we're desperate to entertain

Even though I've been here for a little over a month now I feel like the summer just started. It's weird cuz I feel like a lot has happened too.

Things Accomplished Thus Far:
I got really drunk, I've drunk dialed, drunk texted, fancied someone, drunk texted the guy i was keen on, smoked up, applied for 40 jobs, was denied by said jobs, skirt flown up on busy street and received a ride on a moped.

Along with this I've also watched too many movies to count and downloaded over 60 gigs of music.

Movie:
Dot The I
with Gael Garcia Bernal (from Y Tu Mama Tambien, Motorcycle Diaries and TheScience of Sleeping)
Awesome movie about a love affair between a woman soon to be married and a struggling artist witha twist. It's listed as a thriller on netflix for a reason. It's not your normal romance guys, so you testosterone meatheads shouldn't run.

Currently I'm listening to Mike Posner. I like his whole official album and mixtape. My favorite songs are Drug Dealer Girl and I Don't Trust Myself (a remake of the John Mayer song). He's got a processed electronic hip-hop vibe, but I like it. I'm not sure if he's the most original, but whatever he's doing I think it's working.

FAIL

Tonight was another wasted evening.

Spent the night walking around trying to find a party, however, as the title reads, FAIL. Apparently there were 6 parties going on, unfortunately I made it to 0 of them. Walked all the way across campus singing Britney Spears and wrapping the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air song while making fun of the freshman. However by walking clear across campus we consequently looked like freshman.

Question: How long can you pretend like you like someone? If you're in constant contact I think 7 days is the cut off.

Movies recommended:
Blame It on Fidel (Il faute à Fidel)
-a french movie about a 10 year old girl whose parents' political involvements completely change the family's lives.

Lila Says (Lila dit ça)
-it's another French movie about a blonde siren whose sexuality captivates an Arab neighborhood. I know my description sucks. But it's good. I promise.

Fantasm Orgasm

Haven't written on here in awhile.... And a lot of stuff has happened.

Since my summer has ended I guess I should do a recap for the (0) people that read this..

RECAP:

I was racially profiled and quarantined in a house of drunk black people I didn't know because there was a shooting down the street.

Then I had a job for two weeks where I stood on street corners in downtown Philadelphia, annoying the fuck out of people attempting to save little babies in impoverished areas. Oh and it rained everyday for a week. Yay

Went to a family barbecue and watched my mother take a tequila shot with salt, lime and shot glass in hand with my aunt and cousins. I have the video on my phone...... Slightly tempted to youtube it.

Smashed mad bitches.

Got drunk.

Fought with my mom.

Had another interesting conversation with my brother and he didn't try to convert me to islam again. Yay.

Found Jesus

Lost Jesus

Didn't have sex. Awesome.

All-in-All it was a successful summer.

WARNING: fangirl moment

So I just finished Coffee Prince and am sad that I no longer have an excuse to stare at Gong Yoo. Since I am currently obsessing over asian dramas now I've decided to manifest my inner fangirl and make a list (yes like every other fangirl blogger) of my top azn drama actors. The difference is....... I dunno I'm black?

Gong Yoo

Due to his mandatory stent in Korea's military his appearance has changed....voila

(My reaction to this picture is slightly reminiscent of when I first saw a recent picture of Judd Nelson post watching Breakfast Club, major disappointment)

Matsumoto Jun

My crush on this overly manicured Japanese actor has gotten me a lot of slack from my friends. Yes, there are times at which he looks like a girl, but I've come to the conclusion that many Japanese male celebs are genderly ambiguous.... if that makes sense.

You can find him in the J Dramas Kimi Wa Petto, Hana Yori Dango and Gokusen

Oguri Shun

I first saw him in Hana Kimi as this quiet, dark, athlete and then again in Hana Yori Dango as another quiet but, this time, uber rich elitist. I'm not sure if I'm the biggest fan of his but he's pretty funny in Gokusen as a blonde "thug".

Currently he's playing a thug again in Crow Zero. I haven't seen it, but reviews say its pretty good.

si. sono finito. mi dispiace per l'informazione "useless". ho dovuto to get it out della mia sistema. and that is my 2 years of italiano going to waste......whatever:)

life

Reflection on the love life. Fucked. My ex boyfriend is obsessed with what I did at 3 am with my suitemate in the middle of my all-nighter. First off we're not dating. Second, I don't fucking remember what happened considering I was so hopped up on caffeine and sugar. Third we're not dating. Fourth, he's fucking nuts.

It seems, at least for me, that boys have reversed sex stereotypes. They are emotional, rash and completely jealous. The only girls I know like this usually suffer from some personality disorder prior to the relationship or have daddy problems (no offense). Maybe it's just boys. Maybe I need to find guys who are mentally as mature as me. Off to 30 year old men:)

korean dramas

So after wasting at least 50 hours of my life obsessing over Japanese dramas I've moved on to Korean. Not by choice, but I think I've watched all the slightly-less-than-ridiculous Japanese dramas, I mean they're all ridiculous, but the less over the top ones. I refuse to watch a tv show about a person's last month before having a life threatening operation. Refuse. I may be a sap, but I haven't gotten there yet.

The one I'm watching now is called The First Shop of Coffee Prince. It's about a young girl who looks like a boy and the many men who think she's a boy. The assumed homo but actually hetero situations are quite funny. I guess I would recommend it, but good luck on finding a site that doesn't fuck up the audio-video sync.

I might have a slight crush on one of the lead characters Choi Han Kyul. Hawt. OK, I'm done being a retarded middle school girl. Anywayz. New obsession. Next week, I probably will have finished the drama due to my insomnia. yay!

PS-before continuing with this blog, I should note that I am not Asian, I just happen to like their dramas and soundtrack music. Not that I would be offended to be called Asian. My friends think I look partially Asian and "act Asian" (whatever that means), but actually I'm just an anime nerd who happens to be addicted to Asian dramas and any soundtrack music..... And I used to date a Japanese guy. Coincidence. Pure coincidence:) AND proud to be one of the most ostracized races in the world. yay.
